Accommodation / Equipment
The pub is situated in the centre of town, and has a very steady trade.
The pub has outside seating for 56, inside seating for about 32, plus 10 at the bar.
The bar property is leasehold, with a 9 year lease, renewable. The Landlord and Tenant Act in Gibraltar is very powerful, there is absolute security of tenure, and there is no difficulty with buying and selling the lease. Rented parking space available.

Well equipped and fully staffed producing a good level of income. The pub opens at 10.00 am until midnight, often later. It seats 36 inside, and 48 outside. Usually in summer people are queuing for tables at 1.00 as of course everyone is in a hurry as the vast majority of our tourists are day trippers. This week a family came to eat with us who have been coming for the last 7 years. Last year we had run out of steak and kidney pie, they came in to reserve it and their favourite table before going up the Rock. It is amazing how many post cards and Christmas cards we get from all over the world telling us how much they like the food and all of us. For several years we have been given a great write up in the Lonely Planet guide book as serving the best fish and chips in town. Because we speak French we attract a lot of French tourists (steak frites comme a Paris is on my advertising board) and we figure in most of their guide books.

Key Features
Key Features
The Rock of Gibraltar sits at the southernmost tip of Europe with a land frontier to Spain on its northern front. It rests at the crossroads of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The stretch of water that separates Gibraltar from north Africa is called the Strait of Gibraltar and throughout history has played a strategic part in battles fought and won to control the western Mediterranean seaways. Intrinsically linked with the sea, Gibraltar is one of the busiest Ports of Call in the Mediterranean. In the ancient times, right through the age of empires and in the global conflicts of our own century, Gibraltar has stood guard over this Mediterranean, its unique position making it the focus of a continuous struggle for power. This spectacular rock monolith covers a land area of about six square kilometres.
